Maid Cafe Simulator Guide

Release date, languages, platforms and launch FAQ

Quick answer

October 8, 2026, full release on Steam — the studio scrapped its Early Access plan in June. Eight text languages with full Korean voice acting, single-player, and a launch build with 49 recipes and 23 achievements.

Maid Cafe Simulator launches on October 8, 2026 — as a full release, not Early Access. That's the headline fact, and it was a deliberate change of course: the studio had originally planned an Early Access launch for July, then announced in June that the game would become a Full Release in October instead.

Here's everything confirmed about the launch build, and what's still open.

The June "Important Notice" post is worth reading for the reasoning: the team reviewed development state, decided Early Access wasn't the right vehicle for where the game had gotten, and delayed to October to ship it complete.

Price

Not listed on the store page at the time of writing (October 7, 2026 — one day out from launch). The price appears with the release; the store page is the only place to read it from, not the rumor threads.

Languages and voice

Eight languages are supported at launch:

  • Text: English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, Russian, Spanish (Latin America)
  • Voice: the story is fully voiced in Korean — main story and bond stories

That's a notable split: a Korean-voiced game with a wide text net, built for a global audience from day one.

What ships in the launch build

From the official feature list, the day-one content picture:

FeatureCount
Main story chapters13
Bond stories36
Text messages per maid25
Drink recipes49 (3 station types)
Customer personalities10 (+2 troublemaker types)
Outfits18 base + 15 DLC

Plus the café management layer: first-person service, phone-based ingredient ordering with Maidroid delivery, café expansion (dining area, kitchen, furniture), the stage and dance system, festivals, and the Maidchelin three-star goal with the inspector's visit as the endgame test.

Steam features

The store page lists the usual comfort set: Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, custom volume controls, and single-player. To be explicit about the word that shows up in search: this is a single-player game — no multiplayer or co-op modes are listed.

What's still unconfirmed

  • Console versions: nothing announced; the launch is PC via Steam.
  • Demo save transfer: no official statement; assume a fresh start in the full game.
  • Post-launch roadmap: the studio has been open about updates through the demo period, but no dated content roadmap has been published.

The road to launch, briefly

June: Early Access plan scrapped, Full Release announced for October. June–September: demo updates, new languages, hotfixes, new maids entering the demo. September 18: October 8 locked in. September 30: 40,000 wishlists crossed. October 8: doors open.

For everything that happens after launch — patch notes, balance changes, festivals — this site's pages get re-verified against the live build, and the date at the top of each page moves with it.
